HIGHLANDS ELECT OFFICERS AND AWARD MANY PRIZES After holding a rifle marksmanship test at the National rifle range, which Thomas Tan-sey Tan-sey Tan-sey won. thereby -a.pturing -a.pturing the silver cup donated for the best scorer, the Highland Gun Club members gathered around the festive board at the Hotel Windsor last night for their annual banquet and election of officers for the ensuing year. The Highlands had much to accomplish at their pow wow and it required a long session before everything on the table had been properly attended to. The election of officers resulted in William Palton being chosen presiJent. with David Mercer, vice president. J. Franklin Meehan, the hardest worker in the club, was again elected secretary, with Thomns Tansey treasurer. treasurer. The board" of directors for the year will consist of Ir. frooks. It. 5. Rincgold, Joel Iavis. H. C. David. George McCarty, Fred Klr-ar Klr-ar Klr-ar and AValter Dalton. H. E. Perry was again Hvcted captain of the club on the shooting shooting field.
