Officers Installed. The officers of Altoona City lodge,Knights of Honor, were installed Wednesday evening evening by Grand Deputy P. Fisher, of Johnstown, Johnstown, who was attended by Brothers Ryan and Easterbrook, acting as grand guide and P. G. D. The interest of the occasion was added to by the remarks which followed by the above named officers, together with those from D. S. D., W. E. Kimber, T. J. Burke, and others. The officers installed were: S. A. Lutz, P. D ; E B. Green, Diet ; J. H. Dougherty, V. Diet; J. S. Moorhead, A. D ; George Carpenter, reporter; John White, F. R.; Ross Mateer, treasurer; Solomon Kramer, guide; H. E. L. YouDg, chaplain; Henry Spitz, guardian. This order has paid to widows and orphans in the past eighteen years $34,360.00, a record unprecedented in the history of the world, and any one may take advantage of it and become a member, at slight cost, by applying to any of the above named gentlemen, who are well-known well-known well-known citizens of Altoona,
