C A S S E L M A N Casselman, 89, of Kingsley, died Friday night at Grand Traverse Medical C a r Facility, Traverse City, following a two-and-a-half year illness. Mr. Casselman was born Dec. 26, IBM in Leonidas, the son of Harriet and George Casselman. He married the former Ruby Popps in November of 1918. A farmer in the Copemish a r e a until 1927, Mr. Casselman then moved to Flint and was employed Chevrolet Motors. He retired in 1953, and moved to Kingsley in 1961. He was preceded in death by his wife; a sister, Ann; and b r o t h e r s , Henry. Surviving are a son, Donald E. Casselman of Kingsley; two stepsons, Herbert Popps of Traverse City and Carl Popps of Mio; a stepdaughter, Mrs. George Spoor of Mesick; three grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and many other relatives.
