Although she had boon 111 two weeks her deah was unexpected and a shock to her family and friends, Mr.. Hubbard was one of Houghton's oldest oldest and most highly esteemed residents and her passing Is much regretted throughout tho community, A complication complication of diseases was the cause of death, Mrs, Hubbard was born In Augusta, Maine, June 18, 1852, the' daughter Mr, and Mrs, Charles A. Lambard, Her father was prominent In the development of the Union Pacific railroad, having been officially connected with the organization of that {treat torprlio, She was a granddaughter Allon Lambard, one of the loaders the gold rush to California In 1840. Surviving Mrf., Hubbard are her husband, Dr, Lucius L, Ilubbard, a regent of the University of Michigan! and three daughters, Charlotte H, Goodell of Houghton; Frances H, Flaherty Flaherty of South Norwalk, Conn.; and Julia H, Adams of South Orange, J.
