Martin Murphy, ex-county ex-county ex-county auditor, won out in his fight against the indictment brought against him by the last grand jury in the Superior Court on Friday morning. The indictment charged Murphy with having forged the name of E. W. Conant, county treasurer, to a tax redemption certificate for the sum of $66.50, and appropriating appropriating the sum to his own use. In a demurrer presented to the court a week ago. Murphy, through his attorneys, Bert Herrington, C. W. Cobb and George W. Waldorf, attacked attacked the indictment on the ground that it failed to allege a venue, that it was not alleged that E. W.
