Buncher Bruce Sankey Harry Levins Gene Pospeshil Post-Dispatch Post-Dispatch Post-Dispatch Announces Promotions Several promotions on the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Post-Dispatch Post-Dispatch news staff were announced today by Managing Editor David Lipman. The changes, to be effective May 11, are: Alan H. Buncher, chief copy editor, will become a news editor. Bruce Sankey, business editor, will become city editor. Harry Levins, city editor, will become chief copy editor and will also take over the new position of writing coach. As writing coach, he will run a program aimed at making the paper's news writing tighter and brighter. Dale Singer will become acting business editor. Both Singer and Susan C. Thomson have been appointed assistant business editors. Gene Pospeshil, director of photography, will become assistant to the managing editor, handling administrative duties, while continuing to be affiliated with the photography department. ' Robert C. Holt III will become director of photo technology and Jim Rackwitz will become chief photographer. Buncher, 35, joined the Post-Dispatch Post-Dispatch Post-Dispatch in 1973 and has been the newspaper's chief copy editor since 1978. He was named news editorcopy desk last year. Prior to being employed by the Post-Dispatch, Post-Dispatch, Post-Dispatch, he worked at the old Metro-East Metro-East Metro-East Journal in East St. Louis, at the Sharpsburg (Pa.)
