Helen M. Stolla, 90, Neenah, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at her home with family members members at her side. She was born on November 6, 1923, in Swanville, MN, the 9th of ten children to Leo and Mary (Wiener) Urbanski. Urbanski. Helen was united in marriage to Edward J. Stolla on September 23, 1944, in Rothschild, WI. He preceded her in death on January 10, 1983. Helen loved art and music and was a very talented and creative person. She was an expert Bridge player player and valued the many friends who played bridge with her throughout the years. Helen was a homemaker homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed reading, traveling, traveling, cooking (especially for family holidays) trying new recipes and spending spending time with her family. She was also adept at water water color painting, piano pl aying, gardening, sewing, sewing, and home decorating. decorating. Helen was employed with Memorial Florists & Greenhouses for twel ve years and loved designing Uower arrangements. She was a long-time member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Catholic Parish, Neenah. Helen is survived by two daughters: Kathleen (Wayne) Humski, Menasha; Menasha; and Dianne (Stuart) Farnham, Ojai, CA; a son: James (Debbie) Stolla, Neenah; ^ve grandchildren: grandchildren: Deb Zehner, Anthony Anthony (Nikole) Humski, Kristen (Brian) Reid, Taylor Taylor Farnham, and Brandon Brandon (Tina) Kramer; eight great grandchildren: Callie, Callie, Keaton, Noah, Rylee, Haylee, Julia, Jade, and Jordan; two brothers: Leo (Theresa) Urbanski, Palm City, FL; and Al Urbanski, Wausau, WI; her two closest closest friends: Betty Quinn and Barb Peterson, both of Neenah; as well as many other relatives and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a great grandson: grandson: Evan Zehner; seven siblings: brothers George, Ed, and Sam Urbanski and sisters Emma Fedor, Rose Berst, Rita (Krause) Bukowski, and Dolores Kamke. Funeral se rvices will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold ociciating. Interment Interment will be in St. Margaret Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of Uowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helen’s favorite charity, the Hortonville Hortonville Community Food Pantry, P.O. Box 236, Dale, WI 54931. Helen’s family would like to express their gratitude to Sheila Scanlan and to the sta9 at A9inity Visiting Visiting Nurses for their compassionate compassionate care.
