FBI Agent Edward L. Boyle of Phoenix said Buatte would be arraigned before U.S. Commissioner Commissioner PauLPertuit here. Buatte was arrested by highway patrolmen and Nav- ajp police about an hour after after the slaying some 10 miles from the tent home of the girl and her brother near Tuba Tuba City. Investigators said the girl, Linda Secody, ,and her 10- year-old brother, Dan, were beaten with a steel-handled claw hammer and shot in the head with a .22 caliber gun. Dan was reported in fair condition at Town Memorial Hospital in Albuquerque, N.M. Doctors said there would be no useful purpose in removing removing the bullet which lodged in the sinuses near the boy's eyes. The attack occurred in a tent at the campsite of the girl's sheepherder father. Investigators' Investigators' reports said the victims' parents, Mr, and Mrs. Charles Secody, were tending sheep about a quarter mile from the tent. Mrs. Secody told investigators investigators she saw a white man. enter the tent and she and her husband hurried, toward it.
