.60 .S0 -1.00 Neighboring Deaths And Funerals MIKE SALATA NEW LONDON, May 22—Mike Salata, 53, Huron-co farmer, died at New London Hospital late Sunday Sunday from injuries sustained Saturday Saturday when he was thrown from and run over by the tractor on which he was riding with his son, Tip. The accident occurred when Mr. Salata and hl.i son, Tip, were riding riding home on the tractor from the woods where thc-y had spent the day cutting skids to be used in moving a building. The tractor hit a bump In the road, throwing Mr. Salata off. He became caught in the wheel, which ran over him before the tractor could be stopped. He suffered suffered a broken left leg, left hip and left shoulder and the lugs on the tractor wheel pierced his left cheek. Mr. Salata Is survived by his widow and two sons and two daughters, daughters, residing 0.1 a farm one mile and a half north of here. The body h.ia been removed to the BIttner Funeral Home at Elyria where burial preparations are being made, Funeral arrangements arrangements will be announced later.
