Michael Dudek of Arcadia, was recently assigned to the 74th Vir Rescue Squadron, Ladd Air 'orce Base, Alaska. Dudek is a graduate of the Air 'orce Navigational School at Har- ngen AFB, Texas. Lieutenant Duek Duek will bo assigned to a crew as he navigator of an SA-16 rescue ype aircraft. The territory covered y the 74th Air Rescue Squadron, ncludes all of nor'.hern Alaska nd adjacent waters to the North ole. The Arcadia officer and his crew articipate in search, rescue, and vacuation missions and much of i effeciency and success of the peration, depends upon his ability a a celestial and polar navigator.
