Miss Lula James and Mr. Walter Wilkins married at Jane James' home on 17 Sep 1896 in Scranton, Pa. — Professor Silas Rosser, relative of the bride, began Mendelssohn's wedding march. The couple were unattended. Rev. Thomas Bell of Plymouth Congregational performed the ceremony. Following the ceremonies and a wedding breakfast, the newlyweds left on a honeymoon to Philadelphia and New York. Mrs. Lula Wilkins has been an employee of the Albright Memorial Library since it opened a few years ago.
