Miss Lula James and Mr. Walter Wilkins married at Jane James' home on 17 Sep 1896 in Scranton, Pa.

Professor Silas Rosser, relative of the bride, began Mendelssohn's wedding march. The couple were unattended. Rev. Thomas Bell of Plymouth Congregational performed the ceremony. Following the ceremonies and a wedding breakfast, the newlyweds left on a honeymoon to Philadelphia and New York. Mrs. Lula Wilkins has been an employee of the Albright Memorial Library since it opened a few years ago.
