Kurt H. Siecke Kurt H. Siecke, former resident of Freeport and prominent Portland, Ore., consulting engineer, died March 16 after a seizure in his downtown Portland office. His father was a partner in the hardware firm of Schulte & Siecke here. Mr. Siecke was an associate professor of engineering at University of Portland and chairman of the special water resources committee of the Portland Chamber of Commerce. He was born in Freeport and attended Freeport schools. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois. He made a report on the study of water supply in the Portland area, which the Portland newspaper says was proclaimed throughout the West as an outstanding contribution in its field.
