Charges Filed Against Pair After Brigham Police Chase BRIGHAM CITY—Police here said today formal charges have been filed against two persons in connection with a high-speed chase through city streets Sunday morning. Officer Billy Jensen said Arlene Rose Finco, 44, and James D. Wood, 44, both of Smithfield, have been charged with carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle. The woman also has been charged with evading police officers. The incident began about 10 a.m. Sunday when a woman asked an off-duty police officer working in a Brigham City gas station for 50 cents in gas and| a receipt bearing his thumbprint. The off-duty officer noticed a gun in the car, called police headquarters and a six-mile chase through city streets ensued. The car was stopped at llth South and Main, but not until after two police cars had been damaged when they were rammed by the fleeing car. The woman is being held in the State Hospital in Provo for observation and the man was! released from the Brigham City I Jail Monday on $300 bail.
