The funeral of Mrs. Myrtle Wiles Barnes, a former Danville Danville resident, will be held tomorrow at l p.m. at Townes Memorial Chapel by Dr. Victor Mantiply. Interment will be in Highland Burial Park. Mrs. Barnes died Sunday in a Richmond hospital at the age of 78. She was born in Lunonburg County, a daughter of the late Ellis B. and Nancy Playmes Wiles. She was married to Harvey Lee Barnes, who died in 1949. and lived in Danville about 20 years before moving to Richmond Richmond 43 years ago. She was a member of Moffett Memorial Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Pauline Barnes of Richmond; Richmond; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Wall of Eden, N.C.; and two grandchildren.
