Donald Garrison Donald Garrison, 65, of Tigertown died at 6:20 a.m; Tuesday, Sept. 16, 1997, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center. A memorial gathering will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the family residence. ' . He was born April 5, 1932, in Kiomatia, to Ed and Ruby Walker Garrison. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. He attended schools in Red River and Lamar Counties and was a graduate of Paris'High School. He was a retired farmer and rancher. He married Anna Cullum Dec. 16, 1980. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Stacy Don Garrison of Los Angeles, Nathan Alan Garrison and Joshua Michael Garrison, both of Tigertown; three daughters, Twylla Dawn Hicks of Dallas, Mary Angelita Garrison of Kirvin and Erica Garrison of Mount Pleasant; two grandchildren, Angela Snellen of Powderly and Raven Garrison of Mount Pleasant; a brother, Richard W. Garrison of Rosalie; two great-aunts, Winnie Peacock of Paris and Cora Brock of Kiomatia; a nephew, Glenn Garrison of Stephenville; two stepsons, Philip D. Jordan II of Hawaii and Patrick Dirk Jordan of Albuquerque, N.M. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Eric Ray Garrison. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
