West Will Head * n ft j| * mm • • JL •• MM A Maintenance Raymond West, 703 Breckenridge, has been promoted to superintendent of maintenance at Missouri Military Academy, Col. Charles Stribllng III, school president, announced today. West, a 32-year veteran of the M M A staff, succeeds Russell Jerichow, who retired May 31 after 37 years at the Academy. West had served as assistant superintendent prior to his promotion, which became effective June 1. He came to Missouri Military in 1939 after graduation from Garfield High School, and served as a master sergeant with Army Engineers from 1943-46. He and Mrs. West have three daughters, Mrs. Brenda J. Ferguson, Parkville; Mrs. Gail Terry, Kansas City; and Mrs. Jo Ann Washington, Jefferson City. The Wests are members of St. Paul C.M.E. Church. The new superintendent's father, Fred West, and brother, Harold West, also served on the Academy maintenance staff. Jewell Stoneberger, RFD 4, Centralia, has been promoted to foreman at the Academy.
