THURSDAY, APRIL 6, 1944 Mrs. A. Dempsey Dies at Age 69 Mrs. Augusta Margretha Demn s ey, 69, of 1317 East, Fifth, died Wednesday at fi p. m. Ihe Rebekah Lodge and wns a past noble grand of the organization. Surviving are a brother, Carl Barenreuther of Alton, and a step. M son, Archie Dempsey, Cenlcrvilie, Mo., and a nephew, Pfc. Ameyi Barenreuther, two nieces, Flossie and Mary Barenreuther, and a cousin, Conrad Fichtel. Funeral services will be conducted conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. at Bauer Bauer & Hoehn funeral home.
