• PILGRIM REST In spite of the cold weather, a number of folk turned out for the pie supper. Games were played and the amount collected for the Christmas fund -vas $69.53. There were about* 50 people people present. Those from out of the community were: Mr. and Mrs. Mutt Webb from Wauhillau, Carl Beshears from Stilwell, Junior and Kenneth McReynolds, Hubert Hatfield from Horn, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe McCuIlough and Clifford Langford of Horn. Mrs. Hattie K. Creason of this community received a telegram Thursday of the death of her brother-n-law, O. B. Davis of Brownwood, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Sam C. Poor and family visited Walter Creason and his mother, Mrs. Hattie K. Creason, of this community Sunday. Sunday. A son was born November 3 to M-Sgt. Walter and Mrs. Patton Patton at Tulsa, Okla. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. George Patton. Great Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Johnson of this community. community. Mrs. Patton is the former former Miss Dixie Rose.
