Death of tn Katlntnble Chrluiaa Ivomnn This morning - . This morning, at her home, No. 61 Hoffman street, on the north side, occurred the death of Mrs. Caroline Neuhaus, aged sixty - five years. Mrs. Neuhaus has been ill a long time, a sufferer from hemorrhages, but her ills were borne with Christian fortitude. Her husband and eight ohildren survive to venerate the death of the best of wives and mothers. Among the children of the deceased are Mr. Henry Neuhaus, Mrs. Joseph Gushing and Mrs. George Sohott, of Chicago. They with the other ohildren, all grown to honored manhood and womanhood, were circled about the death bed. Mrs. Neuhaus is a sister of Mr. B. Mergel, the tobacconist, Mrs. H. G. Wagner and the late Mrs. Neirman. She was a most estimable Christian lady, endowed with a purity' of character that endeared her to all whom she met and added a rare charm to her long and blessed life. Her funeral will occur Monday morning from the St. Mary's Catholic church, where Bev. Father Oechtenng will officiate and pay tribute to the life of a noble woman, whose death is mourned by a wide circle of friends. The family will have much sympathy in their bereavement. H
