Newly Weds Ival and Ella 10 Aug 1936

A large crowd from this community community gathered at the Ernie Sapp home Wednesday evening where they enjoyed an ice cream supper a sa charivari treat from Mr. and Mrs. Ival Sapp. There was also about 50 people present from the Friends community, who enjoyed the ice cream supper as a charivari treat. They also brought gifts to the newlyweds to start married life with. The gifts were numerous and useful such as cooking ustensils, wash cloths, towels, etc., pliers, screw-drivers, milk stools, hammers, etc.
