Threasa Villano Lordi
Charles J. Payson Charles J. Payson Sr., 90, of Indiana, Indiana, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2000, at the Indiana Hospital. A son of Gregory and Threasa Villano Villano Lordi, he was born Oct. 5,1909, in Greensburg. He was a member of the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church and the UMWA Local 1412 in Ernest. A resident of Indiana County for over 60 years, he moved to Chambersville Chambersville in 1935 and was associated with the Civilian Conservation Corp. as third cook and food supply. He was employed by the R&P Coal Company for 28 years, having worked in the Ernest coke ovens before before his retirement in 1962. He is survived by five sons: Patrick C. and his wife, Sonja, of Fayetteville, Fayetteville, N.C.; Daniel G. and his wife, Nancy, of Punxsutawney; Irvin J. and his wife, Janet Kay, of Nashville, Ind.; Charles J. Jr. and his wife, Frances J., of Indiana; and John B. of Indianapolis, Indianapolis, Ind.; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; three half sistersjulie Cadille and Joann Foster, both of McAllister, Okla.; and Josephine Hawk of Hartshorn, Okla.; and two half brothers, Gregory Lordi of McAllister, Okla.; and Joseph Lordi of Hartshorn, Okla. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorthy Buggey Payson; a son, Gerald Thomas Payson; an infant grandson, Ronald Lee Payson; two half brothers, Patrick and T.}. Lordi; and two half- sisters, Mary Paesani and Santina Clark. Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. today at the Bowser-Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Bernard of Clairvaux Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Indiana. Interment will be made in the church cemetery.
