An honor to have met many St. Paul natives. St. Paul is also home for people like Elaine Smith. Thanks to Sam Smith, Harold Brentano and Jesse Villarreal the family's names, faces and places in and around St. Paul are becoming clear. Elaine, a transplant from Camp Adair in 1943 provides the view point of a new comer. 2006 a visit by Horseshoe Lake "With a smile on her face: "My family is just like yours--we migrated here; I met your dad Arturo in the hop field." My dad's arrival -1943.
