Suit of Fireman Who Fled Crash To Be Reviewed AUSTIN, May 31. (UP) -- Texas Supreme Court agreed yesterday yesterday to review the damage suit, a railroad fireman who jumped from an engine because he was fearful ol a collision with another train. The suit was brought by Goolsbee against the T e x New Orleans Railroad. Goolsbee was fireman on the engine of a Port Terminal Association train. The Incident occurred In February, February, 1947, when Goolsbee's train approached an Intersection w TNO's track at Galena Park Houston. Goolsbee suffered a compound fracture of the r i g when he jumped from the train because he feard a collision with an approaching TNO train at Intersection. Goolsbee was awarded $14,500 'damages by the trial court, but decision was reversed by the Galveston court ot civil appeals.
