Alex. Gordon Goes to Germany to Superintend Construction. President Alex. Gordon, of the Niles Tool works company, who left for New. York several days ago.after attending the annual meeting of the company, will sail next "Wednesday for Europe, to be gone for some time. Mr. Gordon will superintend the construction of the immense new plant which is being constructed at the present time in the suburbs of Berlin. It is intended to be a sort of German branch of the Niles com pauy and will result in broadening to no small degree the already wide spread trade of the concern. The foundations for the big structure structure are about laid and tho work or the building proper will bo pushed after Mr. Gordon arrives. The German German plant will be operated by a separate separate corporation, but will be in fact an addition to the Hamilton works of the company. It will be equipped from this side of the water.
