Death of Edward Dietz. Edward Dietz, a son of Mrs. Caroline Caroline Dietz, of 1330 Kast Third street, died this morning in East St. Louis, where he had been working at tho barber trade. He was formerly a glagsblcwver. Word wns received by his mother this morning telling of her son's death. Mr. Dicta was a native of Alton and '.VM 40 years of age. Besides Besides Ms v.'Ue and his mother he leaves iwo brothers .and four sisters. Mr. Diets had been ill with pneumonia pneumonia for a tew neys. He war, well known aa n barber in Alton having followed that trade"for a number of years before leaving Alton. He learned learned both the bottle blowing and the barberlug trade in Alton. The members of the family are VTiliam and Charles Dietz, brothers', Airs. John Spaniol, Jr., Mrs. Augusta Augusta Klomni, Mrs. Caroline Pir.'gcr- l.ut, aii'l Mrs. Louise Fisher. Tlie funeral of ithe deceased will lalte place Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at -the home In East St. Louis pnd burial will bo in that city.
