L/oyd Oolcs Golden Age Club Honors Mothers "Orchids to Mother" was tin- theme used at the recent Lloyd Oaks Golden Age club meeting at the Housing Authority Project Recreation center. Daughters were special guests of their mothers. Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Gero were were hosts for the occasion. Mrs. Sid Owen, mother of ten children, was honored as the •ildest mother with the most children. She was presented svilh a cluster of orchids and a gift. Mrs. Kvie Welch was honored as the oldest mother in the club and presented with an arrangement of orchids. Mrs. J. H. Thompson Sr., 'a Ruest, received a token for being the oldest mother present. The i>n>nram focused on "Fa-' mily Lit' 1 " and included a pro-1 hide "What is a Family" given | by Mrs. Lloyd D. McClatchey. Laniar Robertson sang a group of soups, with Miss Joan Hill at the piano.
