Things which were done was the completion completion of the arrangements for a street car ride over the city Irom 10 to 12 o'clock Sunday morning. As many cars as necessary to accommodate the visitors will" be in readiness, through the courtesy of the ma'n- aser of the city railway, Mr. H. S. Cooper. Tho ride will bo concluded at Twenty- First and Strand, and from there the party will be taken to the docks at pier -'0 and put aboard tho United States revenue cutter cutter Winona. Through the courlcsy of Collector Collector Frank L. lee and Deputy Collector Bosenthal of the United States custom house and Commander E. C. Chaytor of cutter, she was placed at the disposal of the committee, and she" will bo used for the rluo over the bay during the afternoon. The tour will bo the entire water front, and will include Texas City and Bolivar. Tho wholesale disposers of beverages in tho city have stated to the committee that they will -donate a sufficient amount of "German disturbance" for the bohemians.
