The old Glassbrenner homestead consisting of eight acres of ground in Jersey county about eight miles from here, has been sold by the heirs Mr John Glassbrenner, Dr. 1'recl Glassbrenner, Mrs. John Winger, Mrs Barbara Redmond. Ms. Charles Gros, and Mrs. A. Heisler, to Ld. Rmtoul for $1,500. Constable George L Glassbrenner says it is the most fertile fertile ten acres on earth and he proves i! by pointing with pride and his ok cane to the numerous Glassbrenners and descendants who sqning from the hardy pioneer couple who lived there several years ago.
