The officer reported evidence indicates a car or truck was driven up to the rear door and the thieves packed off 22 cases of beer, a radio, quantity of cigarettes, about $130 which they took from a music machine and $55 in pennies from a can placed underneath the bar. Another break-in was reported early today at Walt's Market, 251 17th. Detective L. D. Scott said a 10-year-old boy discovered the burglary when he arrived at the store about 6:30 a.m. to shovel the driveway. He noticed the front door, glass broken out, told his mother who called the owner Walter V. Wessler. The officer said culprits made off with cigarettes "valued at $27 and about $16 worth of beer.
