PAGE Fourth Degree Holds x Columbus Par Dinner Columbus Day was observed by Alton Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Columbus with a dinner at Hotel Strut- ford, at which officers were elect** and a number of after-dinner talks given. The Rev. Father F. B, Kehoe, retiring as faithful friar of the local assembly, told of h(« visit to Columbus' Columbus' birthplace at Genoa; ths Rev. W. B. Whalen, newly appointed friar, spoke of the life of Columbus. Short talks also were given by William E, Kelly, Jos. B. CrlveHo, Jo«i J, Dromgoole Dromgoole and Francis Manning,and Val Rels of Wood River. Herbert C. Hellrung was namAd, faithful navigator, to succeed Walter;, L. Budde, whose term expired.
