Nancy E. Furst Mrs. Nancy E. Furst, 45, of 50 Greenwood Road, Altoona, died at 2:50 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 1974, at Altoona Hospital, following an extended extended illness. She was born on April 22, 1929, in Lewistown, a daughter of Arthur and Lydia (Chilcoat) Secrest. She was joined in wedlock to Hubert S. Furst on May 6,1950. Her husband and three daughters survive, . Mrs. Lydia Cunningham of Carlisle Carlisle and Paula and Nancy, at home. Also surviving are five brothers and sisters, George of Burnham, Mrs. Anna Mary Halfpenny and Alvin of Lewistown, Ralph of Mount Joy and Mrs. Frances Neiman Neiman of Mifflintown. A grand-. mother, Mrs. Bertha Chilcoat of Rock Hill Furnace, also survives. Mrs. Furst was a member of the Simpson United Methodist Church and served as a teacher in the Sunday School kindergarten. She also belonged to the Greenwood Dandy Lions. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 5 in the Mauk and Yates funeral home, Juniata, Altoona. The Rev. Jay House will officiate with interment in Juniata .Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m., today, Friday, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the services on Saturday.
