Young ot an the the ot the With the passing of summer and the occasional cool days the thought of school days comes to/the mind, and during these days parents and young people are busily engaged in writing to the leading schools ot the country, making inquiries as to the course of studies offered and entrance requirements. The University of Illinois seems to be the most popular school with the graduates of the past year or so, but many of the young people are going to distant points to enter higher institu tlons ot learning. Miss Helen Wyckoff Is planning to enter an Eastern preparatory school, but as yet has made no selection. Miss Alice Twing will leave about the middle of September to resume her school work at Mt. Holyoke, and Miss Helen Wilkinson will return to Wellesley. Miss Virginia Sauvage and Miss Elizabeth Job will resume their work at .Monticello, both having been students for the paat year. Miss Eliza beth Bassett, daughter of Mrs. Jane Bassott, will also attend Monticelto this year. Miss Florence Rose, daughter o Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Rose, left .
