Securo, 557 Highland Ave., at five o'clock Saturday, Feb. 4, In Trinity Lutheran Church. •The Rev. Reuben C. Baerwald officiated at the double ring ceremony, and Donald Eldon Buns of Dorsey, HI., and Miss Margaret Lou Glenn of Alton, were the couple's attendants. ' Miss Cordelia Schuette was organist, playing "Nuptiale March," "Trumpet Voluntary" and "Prayer." " Miss Schuette accompanied Miss Margaret Glenn, who*sang "The Lord's Prayer" before the ceremony. ''Mis's Lbhse wore a white vel- vejeen gown styled with a bolero, and carried a white Bible topped with a white orchidr Miss Glenn, -appeared in a lavender' frock, trimmed with satin',' and her lowers were pink roses in a corsage. Reception Was held at 7 o'clock in the Onized Club rooms, and Mrs. Donald Eldon Buhs and Mrs. Eugene W. Sims, sister- of . the- bride,: se'rved. Tapers and spring flowers' were used in the decorative scheme of the refreshment 'table Following a week's tour ; of southern states, Mrl-and'Mrs.'" Securo will reside at 560 Highland 'Ave.' , . Mr., Securo, ^niployed in the mold 'shop , of Owens-Illinois Glass Co., served with.the field artillery of , the United States Army from Jan. 1953 to Dec. 1953 and was stationed in Germany. He was graduated from Alton High School in June, 1950, and studied at Shurtleff College for two years before entering service. The former Miss Lohse was graduated from Civic Memorial High School in May, 1953, and is employed in the purchasing department, Central Shops office, Owens - Illinois Glass Co. , Miss Flack Becomes Bride Of Arthur A. Doergo Miss Phyllis Jean Flack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Flack, Route 1, Moro, .became the bride of Arthur A. Doerge, son of Mr. and Mrs. David A. Doerge of St. Louis, in a double ring ceremony read at 7:30 o'clock Saturday evening by the Rev.-.A. H. Ferguson in Assembly of God Church, Bethalto. Miss Betty Cowgill' of Alton, •was maid of honor, and Mrs. Robert Minton of Baldwin, Mo., the bridegroom's sister, was bridesmaid. Ray Harris of St. Louis, served as best man, with Bill Goehe of Gillespie, 111., as groomsman. Guests were seated by Donald Flack, brother of the,bride, and .Donald Stahlhut. Patty Collins and Glenn Carr, both of Bethalto, were flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.' Walking ^down the aisle with her father, 'the bride appeared in a gown - of hand-clipped Chantilly lace and nylon tulle over, satin, wearing .-a pearl tiara - of leaf design outlined with ^sequins and seed pearls on her head, securing her hand- rolled silk illusion veil, 'and carrying a white Bible topped with an arrangenient of steph- ••*•) anotis, a white orchid and white satin streamers studded with lilies-of-the-valley. Her gown was styled with molded bodice, square sweetheart neckline, stand-up collar, long sleeves tapering into points, at the. wrists, and. a lace p'eplum over the full tulle skirt which, was extended by hoops- and ended in a sweep train. The neckline and peplum of the gown were outlined in sequins and pearls. Outfitted identically were the maid of honor and bridesmaid, who- -wore, ballerina length dresses of scalloped nylon net, matching headbands of braided velvet with veils and nylon lace mitts. Their frocks were fashioned .with fitted bodices; pleated panels in the - skirts and , ' •
