Nearly eight hundred members ot the association and their friends attended tbe entertainment, and a majori ty of them remained during the ball. The ball waa decorated with flogs and bunting, and palms surrounded th rostrum on which th orchestra bad seats. Refreshments were served at 12 o'clock, and two large punch bowls were kept constantly filled with lemonade to refresh the dancers.
