Mrs. Pharris was a resident of DeQuincy for 35 years and was a member of the Knapp- town church. She is survived by five sons. S. W.. Elvie. E. B., Odic. and One Pharris. all of DeQuincy: four daughters, Mrs. Ida De'al and Mrs. Vernie Cooley, both of DeQuincy: Mrs. Jessie Shires and Mrs. Hubert Bates, both of Houston.
