Grand daughter of Mrs. Forrest Stevens married
* i —Stropky photo MRS. ROBERT MANN In a June 14 ceremony, Marcia Dale Schwartz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Schwartz of 120 17th st. NE, New Philadelphia, became the bride of Robert H. Mann, son of Mr. and Mrs. Horace S. Mann of Houston, Tex. Their vows were read in New Philadelphia First United Methodist Church with Rev. Oliver Davis Jr. as offi- ciant. Mrs. Ron Callahan was organist and Melody Leggett sang. The bride chose an empire, A-line organza gown fashioned with Camelot sleeves and a chapel train accented with lace and .pink satin ribbon. Her chapel mantilla was edged in lace and pink ribbon and she carried roses. Her coral ring was a gift of the bridegroom and her cameo ring belonged to her grandmother, the late Mrs. Forrest Stevens. Maid of honor Lona Beans of New Philadelphia was attired in a deep pink chrffon over linen gown and veil and carried a pink long-stemmed rose. Bridesmaids Nancy Demuth and Kathy Neiger of New Philadelphia and junior bridesmaid Shelly Schwartz of New Philadelphia, sister of the bride, wore light pink and carried similar flowers. Their headpieces and rose necklaces were gifts of the bride. Horace Mann, father of the bridegroom, was best man and Steve and Calvin Schwartz, brothers of the bride were ushers. The bride's mother chose mint green and the mother of the bridegroom wore a powder blue ensemble. Each had a white rose corsage. The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in Espenschied's Restaurant at Dover. A buffet dinner was served at a reception at Atwood Lake Lodge. Mrs. John Shott II of New Philadelphia, cousin of the bride, had the guest book and distributed rice bags. A 4- tier cake topped with doves centered the bride's table. Following a honeymoon at Acapulco, Mexico, the couple will reside in 3633 South Shaver, Pasadena, Tex. The bride is a 1968 New Philadelphia High graduate. She attended Kent State University Tuscarawas County branch and was employed by Globemaster Corp. in Houston, Tex. Her husband, a 1964 Memorial High graduate, is attending South Texas College and is employed by NASA at Ellington Air Force Base. He spent 3>/<j years in the Marines including 2»/fc years in Vietnam.
