PARKWOOD. Mr. and Mrs. George Warner, of Conemaugh, passed through town on Sabbath. Born to Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Campbel a girl. Mrs. J, R. Craig and Mrs. P. C. Craig motored to Indiana. Miss Janet Holstein is spending a few days with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Holstein. Miss Vacla Watt, teacher of McCreight School, spent Saturday and Sabbath at her home here. Miss Helen Smith was an Indiana visitor, Saturday. Misses Dora Blakeley and Alta Patterso::, of West Lebanon, were callers in town Wednesday evening. Literary Society will be held in the Hill Top school Friday night. Miss Mary Kinter, of Marion Cen- ter, was a week-end visitor with friends here. Armstrong Grange, No. 1645, will hold their regular weekly faceting at this place Wednesday evening. Rev. Logan was a county seat visitor on Monday. Mrs. R. A. Fonts and little daughter Martha, spent Thursday with the former's sister, Mrs. F. B. Miller, Mrs. Anna Smith visited her mother, Mrs. John A. Campbell, who has been ill. Mrs. Bruce King and her little son have returned home after visiting- friends at this place. T. W. Carnahan motored to DuBois. Communion services were held in the West Union U. P. church, Sabbath •
