Park Community High school P-TA, will be held Saturday, October 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Central school gymnasium, W. 95th st. and S. Spaulding ave., Evergreen Park. Plans were discussed at a recent meeting of the P-TA executive board of District 231 in the high school, W. 99th stand S. Kedzie ave. Walter Sutterlin, 9228 S. Clifton Park ave., president of the P-TA presided at the meeting. Home baked delicacies, a gift corner, and a white elephant sale are some of the features the carnival. Anyone having items to donate to the sale are asked to contact Mrs. William Kubie, 9215 S. Central Park GArden 2-5963, chairman, or co-chairman Mrs. Herbert Kroeger, 9219 S. Trumbull ave., GArden 2-7933. Cakes, pies, coffee cakes, candies, breads, rolls, and jellies will be included among the temptingly displayed foods for sale. In the gift corner may be found aprons, potholders, bean bags, mobiles, earrings, lapel pins, plaques, and novelties.' As for what will be sold at the white elephant booth, committee members working on the carnival refuse to even venture a guess at the variety »of things which will turn up there!
