Dunn Smith. ' Mr. James S. Dunn and Miss Marie Smith Quietly Married at Home of the Bride's Parents in Mt. Airy Plans Changed Because of Death of Groom's Father. Capt. Joe Dunn returned yesterday from Mt. Airy where he went to attend the marriage of his brother, Mr. Janu-8 S. Dunn, and Miss Marie Smith, which occurred nt the home of the bride's' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Zachary Taylor Smith, in that place at half paet eleven o'clock Tuesday morning. It will be recalled that invitations to the marriage were issued a few weeks ago. On account of the serious illness of Mr. Dunn's father these invitations were recalled last week. The latter's death occurriug when it did it was decided not to postpone the nuptials but the plans for the wedTling were changed entirely. The young people were quietly married, only a few imme Rate relatives and friends .being present. After the marriage Mr. and Mrs. Dunn left for New York and will visit Canadian points, taking in Montreal, the St. Lawrence river, etc. Mrs. Dunn is an attractive and accomplished young woman and a popular favorite with those who know her. She is a sister of Mrs. R. J. Reynolds of Winston-Salem- Mr. Dunn is a Henderson "boy," but fdr several years he has been liv-iug in Winston-Salem, where he is successfully engaged in business, and is accounted one of the livest and most progressiveyoung men of that live and progressive town. He has many friends here and elsewhere who will warmly felicitate him upon his good fortune in winning such a prize in the game matrimonial.
