Clrk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Clark of Oakley, Idaho, left recently for Fort Monroe, Va., to attend a special officers' training school. He was formerly stationed at Fort Cronkhite, Calif. He was accompanied to Virginia by his wife, the former Elizabeth Wardleigh of Ogden. LIENT. JONES Miles E. (Mike) Jones, son of Ezra B. and Florence O. Jones of 500 Twelfth street, has been promoted to rank of second lieutenant in the army, his parents ·were 'informed this past week. Lieut. Jones is stationed at Fort Belvoir, Va., where he has been for the past three months. He was formerly stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash., in the engineer corps, and entered the service in June, 1941. He is a grandson of Miles L. Jones, former Ogden city commissioner who is now a member of city board of education.
