Unlucky Irish Hunt Corps. hose who believe in the sinister s!j. nificance of the number thirteen mav find an interest in the unwelcome part which that number has played in the history of the "Irish Hunt Corns" of the Imperial Yeomanry, which was overwhelmed in the disaster at Lind-ley Lind-ley Lind-ley ou June 1 last. The Irish Hunt Corps was mobilized on the 13th dav of January, 1900; it sailed from Liverpool Liverpool on board the transport Montrose ou tne uth day of March; it was attached attached to the Thirteenth Battalion of the Imperial Yeomanry; it was captured captured on the occasion of Its first engagement engagement with the enemy, and left thirteen dead upon the field.
