a car Mrs. Watson was the mother of children, five of whom, with the husband, survive, as follows: H. H. Watson, of Logan, 0.; Mrs. Fred Slocum, of Erie; Mrs. Vernah Shewman and Mrs. Cora Feit, at home, and Mrs. A. Buzard, of Lamison, Ala. She also survived by her aged mother, Elizabeth Root, of Portland, Ore., has passed her 8.9th birthday; by brother, Aaron B. Root, of Portland, Ore ; by three sisters, Mrs. E. S. Russell, Chehalis, Wash.; Mrs Tina ham, Dayton, Ore, and Miss Sarah Root, of Fort Sih^om, "Wash ; by grandsons, ranging from six to 16 years of age, and by one granddaughter. All the children and grandchildren were present at the obsequies, which were conducted at the late today at 2 p. m., by Rev. John Allgood, of the local M. E. church, assisted by Rev. John F. Cribbs, of 'che Tionesta Presbyterian church, and Rev L. S. Hoover, of the ~F. M. church honorary pall bearers were the grandsons and the active bearers were members of the boys' Sunday school of which the deceased was teacher many years Interment was in Mt.
