Mrs.' Laura Besser FARMER CITY. (PNS) Mrs. Laura Anne Besser, 85, died at 4 a. m. Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. James Tobin, Farmer City. She had been ill since Aug. 16. Funeral services will be held at the McReynolds Funeral home at McLean, at 1:30 p. m., Tuesday. Tuesday. Burial will be in McLean cemetery. She was born March 31, 1861, near Atlanta, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mason. She was married to Harry J. Thayer in 1881. They were the parents oi two surviving children, Mrs. Nel lie R. Bonny. 206 East Jefferson street, Bloomington, and HowsJrd Thayer of Peoria. She was mar ried to Charles F. Besser in 1889 at Chenoa. She is survived by five daugh ters. Mrs. Adele Dunkin, of Le Roy: Mrs. Inez Dallstrearru of Chicago; Mrs. Martha Thor mahlen and Mrs. Louise Fisher, both of Lombard, and Mrs. Ne oma Tobin, Farmer City, and by one son, Henry Besser of Diam ond Grove. There are 19 grandchildren, 22 great grand children and two great grand children. She was a former resident of Bloomington, Le Roy, and Mi-nonk, Mi-nonk, Mi-nonk, and was a member of the Baptist church, and the Minonk Rebekah lodge.
