Arthur Uluir. chief of police of Ktowah, .Me.Minn county, today shot and killed William Jones, a farmer, while the latter was resisting arrest. Blair claims that the farmer was Intoxicated and drew a pistol. The officer surrendered, atid a trial, which was begun before magistrates, was continued until tomorrow. tomorrow. The defense offered proof to show that Jeen's pistol fell out of his hand aa he dropped before the tire of Blair's gun.
