WALTER PEEBLES OF MARION DIES Walter Peebles, 74, of 210 E. Jefferson St., Marion, died at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday in Marion Memorial Hospital. He was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the Pitts burg Freewill Baptist Church, the Pittsburg Masonic Lodge and the I.O.O.F. in Marion. He was born July 19, 1891, in Williamson County the son of George and Louisa Davis Pee bles. He was married to Sarah Elizabeth Marks and Minnie Williams. Williams. He leaves daughters, Mrs. Loren Hendrickson of Waltonville Waltonville and Mrs. Joseph Feren-chek Feren-chek Feren-chek of Lyons; sons, Glen "Dick" Peebles of Corinth, Ford Peebles of Murphysboro, and Wallace "Pete" Peebles of Marion; Marion; a brother, Dewey Peebles of Pittsburg, and a sister, Mrs. Paul Sanders of Pittsburg. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Murman and Wilson Funeral Home, Johnston City, the RevVernell Clark of-ficiating. of-ficiating. of-ficiating. Burial will be in Union Grove Cemetery, Pittsburg. Masonic Masonic Rites will be at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral burnt.
