Hookway's 70th birthday. Early evening a cooperative supper was served. .The guests were seated at one long table and several small tables. There were three birthday, cakes. A beautifully decorated cake was brought by some of the guests. Mrs. Wayne Hookway and Mrs. J. B. Hookway also each maple, one for him. Mr. Jlookway received many nice gifts and cards. The evening was spent in visiting. The oldest person present was A. Wesley Wesley Clark, 06 years of age, and the youngest was Charles Bishop Hookway, the three months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hookway. Hookway. Miss Vera Van Annan has 500 baby chickens. Mr. and Mrs. John Kellogg and children and Mrs. Edna Short of Marshall were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Weers Jr. The muck farmers are Rowing and fitting their ground for- onions. onions. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Boysen and daughters spent Sunday afternoon near Eaton Rapids with Mr. and Mrs. Herman Boysen. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Hookway and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hookway called on Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Dickinson near Eaton Rapids Sunday Sunday afternoon. ,
