Funeral Held for . Civil War Veteran Last rites were held today for Charles D. Berry, 85-year-old 85-year-old 85-year-old 85-year-old 85-year-old Civil war veteran, who died on January 7 at his home, 7412 Snell street. Berry was a native of West Vir ginia and was a member of Appomattox Appomattox Post. O. A. R. He is survived by three sons and one daughter. The sons are Frank A. Berry of Castro Valley, Harry Berry of San Jose and Fred N. Berry of Manila. The daughter is Airs. Jessie Parker of Oakland. The services will be held at Grant Miller's mortuary chapel at Twenty- Twenty- fourth avenue and East Fourteenth street. Appomattox Post, G. A. R will have charge of the services and Rev. B. B. Conner will" officiate, Interment will be In Evergreen cemetery. 1 ADELPHIANS TO MEET. Jan. 10. Members
