Authorities seized a man and his wife Saturday seconds seconds after the middle-aged couple are alleged to have robbed Ralphs Market, Twenty-fifth street and College College avenue, of about $1.100 in cash. Captured within 100-yards of the southside market were Glenn. 40. and Dorothy Sizer, 38, 1424 South Fourth street. Thev are being held by police after being seized in a 1959 automobile driven by the woman. Credited with the prompt capture capture of the couple were Captain George Rogers and Patrolmen Leslie Soules and Charles R. Slavens of the Vigo Patrol Service. Service. Inc. Rogers said the patrol unit was in the vicinity when they suddenly spotted Sizer dash- ina from the market. ‘ We yelled for Sizer to stop but he continued running.” Rogers stated “I fired several shots over his head but he managed managed to get into the car driven bv the woman.” Rogers continued. “Soules and Slavens moved in on the car which was blocked in an alleyway near the rear of the market and *»e disarmed the man and held the woman, * Rogers concluded. Walks Into Holdup. Ralph Peters, the market owner, told police that he walked in on the holdup while Stzer held a gun on Raymond Schneider, 1000 South Nineteenth street, assistant manager at the market. “I told the fellow that he would never get away with it,” Peters asserted. “I was right. He didn’t get a block away.”
