Marcus Milton Frederick son of Ethel Marcus March 3, 2002 - THE PALM BEACH POST SUNDAY, MARCH 3, 2002 AU...
THE PALM BEACH POST SUNDAY, MARCH 3, 2002 AU COURANT THEATER: Boca Raton's Caldwell Theatre Company is committed to developing new work through its popular Playsearch reading series. A few scripts, like Michael McKeever's Don't Tell the Tsar and the current Out of Season by Elinor Jones have graduated from these Monday readings to full productions. Those who enjoy discovering the new should consider attending Raw Sienna, the latest from Milton Frederick Marcus, whose play Vie Gardens ofFrau Hess landed off-Broadway last year after a Cald well production. It is described as an exploration of art and music, love and lust, fantasy and reality, with characters psychologically linked to such artists of the past as Oskar Kokschka, Alma Mahler and Walter Gropius in relationships both intellectual and erotic. As usual, there will be two performances Monday at 2 and 7 p.m., with audience discussion sessions following each reading. Tickets are $5, available by calling 241-7432. Hap Erstein
