Quenemo Cops First Victory The Quenemo High school basketball basketball team scored its first wyi of the season last night, upsetting Vinland, 65 to 43, at Vinland. Quenemo started slow, with Vinland Vinland dominating the first half of the opening quarter. Midway through the period Quenemo coach Beinie Laub pulled all of his starting starting team but his center, Glenn Kramer, and put in the freshman team. At the end of the first quartei Vinland led 14 to 8, but by the half the hustling fresh had put Quenemo ahead 29 to 25. Quenemo took charge in the sec ond half and increased their lead to win 65 to 43. Kramer was high for Quenemo with 22 points and Edmonds wa; high for Vinland with 12. The Quenemo Girls Team mad< a clean sweep of the evening top ping the Vinldnd Girls 36 to 15. The Quenemo attack was pacec by Laura Rose with 13 points anc Pat Meiers with 11.
